3. ONE SIZE LANGUAGE LEARNING DOESN’T ALWAYS FIT
Language acquisition is part talent part hard work. Some of our students write beautifully. Some of our students speak fluently. Very few do both equally well. This is part of learning about yourself as a language learner. This is part of understanding what skillls are most important when studying abroad. Greenways Academy China emphasizes skill (writing, reading) development, while facilitating a deepening of the appitude portion of language learning (speaking, listening).

Learning words in China isn’t harder than learning words abroad. Many Chinese students spend thousands of dollars to attend ESL training schools in their country of choice. Greenways Academy China has one question to those types of students, why? Our courses are content heavy, with thousands and thousands of words used in the context they will be used in every English speaking country in the world. If you take an American History or a British Literature course through Greenways Academy China, it is exactly the same material covered in an American classroom. You will read, interact, write, and think about the material while in China, just as if you were in the United States. You will learn to think in English rather than learning how to reproduce English.
