Meet Our Staff

Patti Greenberg – Chief Executive Officer
Patti was a counselor for the Jennings School District in St. Louis and started tutoring in 1996 after she had her second child. Her tutoring services evolved into Greenways Academy, which went online in 2004. She received the North Central Association accreditation two years later. Ms. Greenberg’s history of 10+ years tutoring students has shown her the need and the benefit for alternative learning. Her belief is that we can reach students who may not succeed in traditional classroom settings and bolster their confidence while they earn their high school diploma giving them a feeling of success and knowledge. Patti is intimately involved in seeking out the most qualified education resources to enhance the company’s global expansion.

Jerry Boomer - President
Jerry has been involved in growing start up education businesses and departments within major corporations his whole career. He believes wholeheartedly in the “leveraged model” where by the effective uses of available resources can help to grow an entity in a professional manner. Mr. Boomer has been fortunate enough to have spent over 40% of his career involved in International Business, which has helped dramatically in the global expansion now going on. Jerry, along with Patti, is intimately involved in seeking out the most qualified resources in North America and beyond to help grow the company from the business side.

Janet Beckett – Alaska Operations Director
For the past 17 years Janet has lived in Alaska and been involved in many aspects of education in the Greatland. Her background is in education and she has worked with students from kindergarten through high school for the past 28 years. Janet’s own children have attended public, private, and home school so she has a great understanding of the opportunities that Greenways has to offer to students that are so unique and so greatly needed.

Donna Bari - Assistant Principal
Mrs. Donna Bari was born and raised in the St. Louis, MO area. She attended St. Louis University and the University of Missouri where she received a B.A. in Psychology and is currently seeking a Master’s in Education. She has 15 years experience working in the field of Education as a teacher and administrator and is a member of several professional organizations. Donna believes very strongly in making every effort to reach every student and help make them successful!

Verronica Zurawski - Administrative Assistant
Verronica Zurawski joined Greenways Academy in November of 2011. She has several years experience in office administration and has proven to be a great asset to our team! She has a degree in Criminal Justice and plans to further her education by obtaining a degree in Psychology.
