Monthly Progress Reports
One of the basic requirements of enrollment in an Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) program is Monthly Progress Reviews.
At least once a month, CVA teachers will determine whether students are making adequate progress in their courses. Teachers will use course activities, assignments, assessments, student-teacher interactions, and parental input to determine progress. Teachers will schedule telephone, face-to-face or video conferences with students and parents to discuss progress.
Progress Reports and other information relation to progress will come in form on a message and an email. We also will reach out via phone and video conference in some situations. The most important part of this is we discuss with the student/family progress made and what we can do to best support the student.
